Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MultiWallet mobile and web application (the “App”), provided by MultiWallet Ltd (company number 17280320), registered office 148 Coal Road, Leeds LS14 2DQ (“MultiWallet”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use MultiWallet. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The service
MultiWallet allows you to:
- Connect your UK bank accounts via Open Banking (provided by TrueLayer, an FCA-authorised provider) to view balances and transactions in one place
- View an aggregated net worth across your connected accounts
- View a breakdown of your income by source
- View estimated UK Income Tax, National Insurance, and Payment on Account figures (Pro plan)
MultiWallet has read-only access to your connected accounts. We cannot move funds, initiate payments, or make any changes on your behalf at any bank. You remain solely responsible for managing your own accounts and making any payments, including to HMRC.
3. Not financial or tax advice
MultiWallet is a personal finance information tool. It is not a regulated financial adviser, accountant, or tax adviser, and nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, accounting, or tax advice.
Tax estimates shown in the App are calculated using the transaction data available to us and the published HMRC rates for the relevant tax year. They are estimates only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice or for filing your Self Assessment return. You are solely responsible for verifying your tax position and for any filings made with HMRC. We recommend you consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser, or HMRC directly, regarding your individual circumstances.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately at support@multiwallet.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- You may delete your account at any time via the App’s Account settings
5. Open Banking connections
- Connecting a bank account requires your explicit consent via TrueLayer’s secure authorisation flow
- You can revoke this consent at any time, either within the App or directly with your bank
- Bank connections may expire periodically and require reauthorisation, in line with Open Banking regulations
- We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of data provided by your bank or by TrueLayer, including outages, delays, or errors in transaction data
6. Subscriptions and payments
6.1 Free and Pro plans
MultiWallet offers a Free plan (limited to 2 connected bank accounts) and a Pro plan (£11.99/month or £119/year, unlocking unlimited connections, tax breakdowns, and additional features). Pricing is shown in the App and may be updated from time to time; any change will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.
6.2 Free trial
New Pro subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen payment method will automatically be charged for the plan you selected.
6.3 Billing and cancellation
- Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled
- You can cancel at any time via the in-app Customer Portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use automated means to access the App other than through our published interfaces
- Misrepresent your identity or provide false information when registering or connecting accounts
8. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and software comprising the App are owned by MultiWallet Ltd or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that figures shown (including balances, transaction categorisation, or tax estimates) will be complete or accurate at all times
- We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information displayed in the App, including financial decisions made on the basis of tax estimates
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or service availability of third parties including TrueLayer, Stripe, your bank, or HMRC
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use of the App poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
